Summary

This is a full-time position that is responsible for selling equipment and parts for the oil and gas industry, including casing, tubing, valves and fittings, wellheads, sucker rods, tanks, fiberglass and poly pipe, etc. to call-in and walk-in customers, as well as ordering required products to fill these orders.

Responsibilities

  • Making professional sales calls in person and by phone to customers involved in the entire buying process to develop long-term business for Toolpushers Supply Company.
  • Developing ethical professional relationships with customers, vendors and peers through trust and respect.
  • Working with store staff to prepare commercial quotes and proposals to maximize the overall profitability of the Supply Store and grow market share.
  • Developing Market Analysis of regional markets and applies to a Strategic Sales Plan to position Toolpushers Supply Company for commercial success.
  • Meeting reporting requirements as set by Store Manager for assigned customer calls, deliveries and time management efficiencies.
  • Working with TPS Credit Department to collect outstanding Account Receivable.
  • Documenting customer information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Resolving customer complaints.
  • Keeping abreast of new products and services available in the market and makes recommendations to customers.
  • Working with Store Manager to develop business forecasts and yearly budgets.
  • Properly maintaining assigned company vehicles and assets.
  • Participating in industry professional organizations and social functions as a representative of Toolpushers Supply Company.
  • Planning and implementing both short- and long-range sales, marketing, and development programs targeted at new and existing oilfield equipment markets.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in related business field with a minimum of two (2) years of related sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Working knowledge of all types of oilfield equipment, with focus on OCTG’s.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing techniques, financial principles, and computer operations.
  • Highly skilled in oral and written communications; listens and acquires clarification and responds well to questions.
  • Ability to quickly learn and use reporting systems such as E-21 CRM.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to acquire other safety certifications as necessary.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
