Worker I Warehouse

Job Description:

• Support daily warehouse and yard operations: including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials, tools, and equipment.
• Inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Support field operations by preparing materials for projects in a timely manner.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, tools, and equipment for accuracy and condition.
• Organize, store, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse and yard locations.
• Prepare and issue materials, tools, and equipment to field crews as requested.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts or other material-handling equipment.
• Keep the warehouse, yard, and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Report damaged, missing, or defective materials to management.
• Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operation.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous warehouse, yard, or material-handling experience preferred

Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Work Environment Warehouse and outdoor yard environment Exposure to dust, noise, and construction-related materials

Requires adherence to all safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Note: Warehouse/Yard Laborers must be willing to work overtime based on workload demands.
