Job Summary
The Warehouse Team Lead at JD.com will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of goods, and leading a team to achieve productivity and quality targets. Job Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and guidance.
* Ensure accurate and timely receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products according to JD.com's standards and procedures.
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Identify and resolve discrepancies.
* Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, and conduct basic troubleshooting.
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., logistics, customer service) to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
* Implement and enforce JD.com's quality control standards for all inbound and outbound shipments.
* Generate daily/weekly reports on team productivity, order fulfillment, and other key performance indicators.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Conduct performance reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback for development.
Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a dynamic environment.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
* Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks) with valid certification preferred.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
