Join a fast-growing solar company and take charge of our warehouse operations! We're looking for a hands-on, organized, and safety-focused Warehouse Manager in Houston, TX to lead our team and keep things running smoothly.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all warehouse operations: receiving, storing, and dispatching materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
- Track inventory, manage stock levels, and perform cycle counts
- Coordinate deliveries and support job site logistics
- Supervise and mentor warehouse staff
- Collaborate with HQ and accounting on safety and inventory procedures
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of warehouse experience, 1+ year in a leadership role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and inventory systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Forklift certification is a plus!
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES
Lift up to 50 lbs; use safe lifting methods for heavier items
Operate carts, dollies, forklifts, and pallet jacks
Perform physical tasks: standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching
Work in varied conditions (heat, cold, uneven surfaces, noise)
Sit for extended periods using computers and phones
Travel to remote sites as needed (up to 50%)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work.) If required to travel, must have a valid Driver's License/Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
