Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required ; Some advanced education or training is necessary to meet the competency standards listed below
- 8+ years warehouse operations experience, preferably from industrial, electronics assembly, or Aerospace and Defense distribution disciplines
- 8+ years inventory management experience (cycle counting and reconciliation, Disposition of Non-conforming product, managing shelf-life sensitive items, temperature monitoring, etc.)
- 4+ years’ experience working with Distribution software systems, Warehouse management system experience (wireless RF gun) is a plus
- Experience working with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TQM) to drive process efficiencies desired
- Supervisory experience highly preferred, but not required
- Strong inventory control skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Forklift certified or able to become forklift certified
- Must comply with all safety requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
