This is an enterprise-wide senior leadership role that is responsible for bridging the gap between the high-level technology strategy and operational execution. The role ensures that technology solutions (ranging from internal software development, commercial software development, or infrastructure solutions) are delivered with high quality, and scalability in mind, meeting requirements of the business and long-term budget and profitability. 

Responsibilities

  • Strategy: 
    • Define, establish and execute the global technology / product strategy (with CTO) that serves global operations and drives business outcomes, operational excellence and innovation. 
    • Establish Services for internal (and external if applicable) customer including solution delivery, analytics and reporting services
    • Identify opportunities where analytics, automation, AI and emerging technologies can create measurable value
    • Serve as trusted advisor to executive leadership with data-driven decision-making
    • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to translate business needs into technical solutions
    • Act as executive sponsor for multi-year initiatives
    • Stay connected to industry best practices, emerging capabilities and peer networks


  • Data management, Analytics / Technology leadership
    • Modernize cloud, data, and analytics platforms
    • Influence enterprise technology standards, architecture decisions and vendor strategy
    • Guide responsible and ethical use of AI and emerging technologies


  • Services / Delivery
    • End to End Delivery management
    • Operational excellence: establish governance, standards, and processes to optimize efficiencies
    • Evaluate and implement cloud, AI/ML and automation capabilities where appropriate.


  • Business Impact
    • Partner with IT and business leaders to modernize technology platforms supporting analytics and reporting
    • Budget and resource management
    • Stakeholder and vendor management
    • Risk management 
    • Establish quality metrics for data delivery and other KPIs
  • Leadership: 
    • Build, mentor, and lead teams of software product managers, data engineers, data scientists and technologists
