What You’ll Be Doing:
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire process from sourcing to placement—create compelling job ads, screen applicants, and recommend top technical talent for commissioning and field projects.
- Pipeline Development: Proactively build and maintain relationships with skilled trades, engineers, and technicians—anticipating manpower needs before projects go live.
- Technical Partner: Work closely with Project Managers to understand project scopes and staffing needs; align placements with timelines, certifications, and client requirements.
- Retention Focus: Stay connected with current field staff, flag concerns early, and support engagement to strengthen retention.
- Industry Presence: Represent Versys in digital and in-person recruiting spaces—trade fairs, technical schools, social media, and industry networks.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Experience in recruiting, preferably in the oil & gas, construction, or skilled trades industries.
- Ability to connect with people from the field—you understand their world and speak their language.
- Organized, self-motivated, and capable of juggling multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator with strong follow-through and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
