Teacher Assistant (1510)

BakerRipley Community Schools is dedicated to ensuring that we put all our students on the path to True Choice. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Teacher Assistant. In this role, you will support our students and staff with a variety of duties throughout the day.   

Teacher Assistant Responsibilities & Duties 

• Provide supervision and coverage in classrooms as needed  

• Provide general campus support in the main office, classrooms, cafeteria, or other campus spaces 

• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success 

• Implement positive behavior interventions and support (PBIS) and other behavior management strategies  

• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment 

• Experience using technology and multimedia resources in the classroom 

• Be open and receptive to feedback and coaching 

Teacher Assistant Qualifications & Skills 

• Experience working with school-aged children preferred 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills  

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
