SUMMARY:
Full accounting cycle Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Hands on training on SQL and advanced excel and learning all facets of accounting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the full-cycle of accounting processes.
2. Maintain and update general ledger transactions within Microsoft Dynamics GP.
3. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting on a cash basis.
4. Assist in the annual budget process and ongoing budget management
5. Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
6. Prepare analyses of financial variances with budget and prior-year
7. Support tax reporting and assist with partnership distributions.
8. Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
9. Assist in audits, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
10. Work closely with the accounting team to optimize financial processes.
11. Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expense entries into the general ledger.
12. Maintain and balance support schedules for asset and liability accounts.
13. Reconcile cash receipts on a daily basis.
14. Maintain accounting and accounting control procedures.
15. Reconcile cash accounts on a monthly basis.
16. Prepare calculation of complex quarterly partnership settlement.
17. Provides additional detail on expenses reported in quarterly partnership settlement.
18. Preparation and submission of state sales tax filings.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Backup the Payroll Coordinator and Accounts Payable Coordinator, as needed.
2. Prepare ad hoc reporting as needed.
3. Perform other duties as needed.

1. Experience with ERP and accounting systems is helpful but we are willing to train a well-qualified candidate.
2. Proficient with Microsoft Excel including advanced functions.
3. Good critical thinking and decision-making skills.
4. Ability to multi-task and also help improve internal processes
5. Excellent interpersonal skills including excellent customer service to co-workers.
