Fiducial is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant for our Fiducial Expertise office in Houston, TX.
The Senior Tax Accountant will have extensive experience in accounting and taxation. This role involves reviewing financial statements, preparing and reviewing income tax returns, conducting in-depth tax research, and advising clients and internal accountants.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to client service and possess proven accounting and technical tax competencies. These include, but are not limited to, expertise in High-Net-Worth Individuals, Partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Trusts, and Nonprofits, covering both federal and multi-state income tax returns.
Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes:
Tax Expertise: Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, including individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and nonprofit taxation.
- Accounting Proficiency: Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP, and tax accounting principles.
- Tax Research Ability: Skill in researching complex tax issues and interpreting tax laws to provide accurate guidance.
- Software Competency: Familiarity with tax preparation software, especially CCH, and accounting software, such as QBD and QBO.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in financial data and tax filings.
- Strategic Thinking: Identifying tax-saving opportunities and ensuring compliance while minimizing liabilities.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Bachelorβs Degree in Accounting required, Masterβs preferred
- Active CPA or EA
