In this dynamic and visible role, the Senior Finance analyst will work with cross-functional stakeholders in the Personal System Organization. We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst supporting the strategic and operational financial needs of the Optimus program. This role will play a critical part in shaping the financial governance, modeling, and performance tracking of one of HP’s most transformative initiatives. The ideal candidate will work independently through one’s own initiative and will excel at working collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization. The key components required to be successful in this position are – strategic thinking, ability to perform complex financial analysis, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain detailed financial models, including ROI, NPV, and scenario analyses
Track and report on program financials, including headcount (HC) planning, cost center alignment, and MRU structures
Support the creation and refinement of governance frameworks, including spend authorization and investment control mechanisms
Collaborate with category, supply chain, and alliance teams to align financial assumptions and ensure accurate forecasting
Prepare and present financial insights to senior leadership, including variance analysis, risk assessments, and investment recommendations
Assist in the setup and tracking of new PLs or cost locations as needed to isolate the program's financials
Drive financial leadership and business decisions for the strategic program to meet revenue, gross margin, share and operating profit objectives.
Build financial models that provide insights into margin profile of current portfolio with detailed analysis of cost structure.
Strong communication and presentation skills are a must as this role will work with various levels of management, both in finance and the business, and must be able to clearly relay results of analytical projects as well as monthly and quarterly results.
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.
10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.
Knowledge and Skills:
Data science and advanced analysis/modelling skills
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Excellent analytical skills.
Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).

The pay range for this role is $104,800 to $158,250 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
