Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team. This individual will take ownership of critical accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. The ideal candidate brings both technical expertise and a mindset focused on continuous improvement. With demonstrated success, this person will be a strong candidate for future promotion to Assistant Controller and ultimately Controller.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies, identifying and resolving accounting issues proactively.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, FP&A, and business leaders to ensure alignment on accounting impacts.
  • Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls to support scalable growth.
  • Support audit preparation and coordination with external auditors.
  • Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards, systems, and tools.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, modeling accountability and a “right-first-time” approach.


Job Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in managing the financial close process for multiple entities across different jurisdictions is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are preferred.
