Corrpro Companies is looking for a Senior Accountant.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in Accounting, MBA or CPA desired
5 years of accounting knowledge, including analysis, journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and performing month end responsibilities
Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) required. Experience working with complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
Experience applying basic statistical and algebraic concepts such as discounts, interest, percentages, etc.
Experience solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists and interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Experience in effectively communicating with customers and fellow employees
Maintain all company records and documents in strict confidence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the integrity of accounting information by overseeing all components of the general ledger. This position will also be responsible for preparing financial reporting and consolidations in accordance with GAAP.
Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, account analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly and setting up new accounts
Prepare both internal and external financial reporting
Ensure compliance with GAAP
Maintain the General Ledger Chart of Accounts. This includes maintenance required to the General Ledger software and the distribution of the chart of account to management
Review all monthly operating results and explain variances to budgets and prior year
Coordinate and disseminate project information details. Monitor and approve inputs, manage information and recommend action based on analysis of data
Prepare audit papers for outside yearly audits
Responsible for management and audit ability of all capital information
