We are currently seeking a dynamic and initiative-taking individual to Recruit for Hardman Signs.  The ideal candidate for this position must be organized, dependable, and driven. Join our team and be part of a company that values talent, creativity, and growth.

 

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of recruitment experience, with a strong background in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent for various roles within the construction sector. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying talent needs to onboarding new hires, ensuring that our company attracts and retains the best talent in the industry.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales team with all aspects of the sale process and management of multiple projects from initiation, through design, fabrication, installation, and project closeout
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct phone and video interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for various roles within the signage industry.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process.
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires, including coordination with HR for background checks, reference checks, and new hire paperwork.
  • Promote the company's employer brand through social media, job fairs, and other recruitment events to attract top talent.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the company's staffing needs, with a focus on reducing time-to-hire and improving the quality of hires.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in recruitment within the construction industry.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are qualifications necessary to perform the job.

Education and Experience

Required: High school diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited institution and three (3) or more years’ experience in recruitment or human resources

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, Human Resources, or related field. Experience recruiting for roles such as installers, designers, project managers and sales professionals within the construction industry.

Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities
  • Proven track record of successfully filling technical and creative roles within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific certifications and qualifications.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations relevant to the construction industry.
