JOB SUMMARY:

The Receiving & Warehouse Clerk, under the Warehouse Lead’s guidance, is responsible for various warehouse functions including receiving, labeling, inspections, and material handling. The clerk ensures compliance with safety practices and contributes to a well-organized and efficient warehouse environment. Utilizing forklifts and order pickers, the clerk supports material rotation and longevity by adhering to FIFO practices, conducts audits, and assists in layout rearrangements. This role involves computer terminal and electronic equipment use for data input and supports a safety-focused and clean warehouse environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receiving and Inspection:

  • Perform receiving, labeling, and incoming inspections of materials.

  • Ensure compliance with material handling and safety practices.

Material Handling:

  • Operate forklifts, order pickers, and other materials moving equipment after obtaining internal certification.

  • Pick and decant materials, handling and delivering them to internal customers.

Warehouse Management:

  • Maintain material controls to ensure proper rotation and longevity of product shelf life.

  • Conduct material audits and contribute to warehouse layout rearrangements for improved efficiency.

Data Input:

  • Input data into company systems using computer terminals, scanners, or other electronic equipment.

Safety and Housekeeping:

  • Adhere to established safety practices and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

  • Follow good safety and housekeeping practices in alignment with Reotemp standards.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic knowledge of Warehousing, Logistics, Material Handling, or Manufacturing safety practices.

  • Enthusiastic, quick learner, and positive attitude.

  • Able to work with minimum supervision.

  • Dependable, with a strong work ethic (minimum 40 hours/week).

  • Good communication skills in English (read and speak English proficiently).

  • Ability to work with electronic technologies (computers, scanners, etc.).

  • Obtain internal certification to operate forklifts, order pickers, or other materials moving equipment.

  • Demonstrated flexibility to handle diverse tasks and work assignments.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams to achieve common goals.

  • Attention to detail in organizing materials and prioritizing tasks.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, and/or manufacturing production settings.

  • Willingness to learn how to search and input data into computer systems.

  • Experience driving a forklift desired, or willingness to learn how to operate industrial vehicles.

  • Disciplined and orderly oriented.

  • Thrives in an environment of shifting priorities and can prioritize work with minimum supervision.

  • Enjoys problem-solving.

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Google Sheets) and email skills are highly desired.

  • Able to lift materials up to 40-50 lbs.
