REBAR FABRICATION MACHINE OPERATOR
Core Supply in Houston, TX is looking for MEP REBAR FABRICATION MACHINE OPERATORS to join our team.
As a full-time MEP REBAR FABRICATION MACHINE OPERATOR at Core, you are responsible for the safe operation of rebar cutting/ bending machines in a metal fabrication environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and understand safety policies and regulations.
- Operate rebar fabrication machines safely and efficiently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Complete fabrication jobs by established deadlines.
- Assist in loading and unloading rebar using overhead crane or forklift.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
- Communicate potential on-site hazards to branch management.
- Wear required PPE.
- Work overtime as business requires.
- Report for schedule shift on time and fit for duty.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three years' experience operating MEP machines, KRB, or other rebar fabrication machines is required.
- Automated rebar fabrication machine operator experience required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to read blueprints and service manuals preferred.
- Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures commonly used in the rebar fabrication industry required.
- Overhead crane operator and forklift experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal, are required.
- Minimum 1 year working with heavy industrial environment experience preferred.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
