Scope and Purpose: 

The Property Manager oversees the operations of commercial real estate and is responsible for overseeing onsite property staff, vendors and contractors.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the daily operations of assigned commercial properties.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and renovations as needed, ensuring properties meet aesthetic and safety standards.
  • Supervise on-site property management staff, as well as, third party vendors
  • Assist in reviewing, contracting and managing relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality services and cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Resolve day-to-day property management issues
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and followed
  • Other duties as required.  

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED); college degree preferred. 
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of commercial management experience. Must have experience in commercial property management with a proven track record of managing multiple properties effectively.
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Adobe products, and other PC applications and/or software.
  • Oral & written communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and people skills.
  • Ability to prepare reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information from multiple sources.
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team environment, and within require deadlines. 
  • 3-5 years Yardi software experience.  

 Travel Requirements:

This position may require travel within a 10-15 mile radius between properties.
