Job Summary:

Central Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team.

 

The Payroll Administrator is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing for our network of auto dealerships. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. You will be responsible for researching and resolving discrepancies related to payroll. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be punctual, self-disciplined, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Process payroll for 700 employees on a bi-weekly and semi-monthly basis.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies related to missed time.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise strong judgment regarding sensitive information.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team members and management.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and self-discipline in completing critical tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Work well under pressure and manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks.
  • Maintain and update employee personnel files.

 

Experience Requirements:

  •  Previous payroll experience is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations, compensation, wage structures, benefits administration, and state and federal law.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Experience in Reynolds DMS is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in a dealership setting is preferred.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
