Parts Representative – Houston, TX
Reliance Equipment, a leading municipal equipment dealer serving Texas and New Mexico, is expanding into the Houston market and seeking an experienced Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team. We specialize in equipment for refuse, recycling, and street maintenance, representing industry-leading brands such as Labrie, Pak Mor, Multihog, CUES, and Galfab.
This role is vital to the success of our new Houston branch and is responsible for providing exceptional parts support, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving revenue growth in the region.
Pay: $24.00 – $32.00/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Process parts and service orders for customers and technicians
- Record sales and counter transactions accurately
- Maintain inventory accuracy, including daily bin counts and restocking
- Support showroom displays and merchandise organization
- Receive and distribute incoming shipments
- Deliver parts locally as needed
- Provide professional, solution-oriented customer support
- Maintain and update customer and sales data using our CRM system
- Make outbound sales calls to support growth
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a parts department (municipal or heavy equipment preferred)
- Familiarity with the waste and recycling industry is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to conduct cold calls and participate in team meetings
- Clean driving record required
- Able to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
