We would love you to 1-2 years of warehouse experience, but if youre willing to learn, were willing to teach you. Wed like you to have a high school
diploma or a general education degree (GED), but sometimes, experience is the best education.
We need you to be able to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos. You must be able to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests.
You need the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus. Counting is a major plus too as your count becomes inventory.
You have the job. Now you need to do the job. You need to be responsible, reliable and committed to providing excellent service. Patience, friendliness and an outgoing personality are needed for success. You need to be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who completes job assignments in a timely fashion and then looks for the next task.
Full Time is typically 40 hours per week. Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday and must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week.
Part Time is up to 25 hours per week
We schedule for the needs of our business. Working outside of your scheduled time without Store Manager approval is prohibited. In other words, you cannot decide to make up hours because you missed some time after a night out with your buddies unless your manager oks it.
You need the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Knowing when to come in from the rain is a plus.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job regularly requires standing, walking, or bending; use of hands and fingers to handle or feel; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balance; talking and hearing. You must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with proper tools. You must be able to use a industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
We provide a fun and positive environment in for our staff. You will be exposed to outside weather conditions while youre working in our
warehouses. The noise level is usually moderate to loud.
DRIVER CHECK-IN WAREHOUSE CLERK: in warehouse position
To check in drivers after completing their route. Provide timely and accurate verification of the driver's invoices, associated paperwork, returns and collections.
Shift: Open availability needed for shifts between 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, including Saturdays and some holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Promptly receive drivers as they arrive, their daily route sheet, and invoices to ensure all orders were delivered and signed by customer.
· Ensure invoices are properly noted for any exceptions, refusals, and shipping errors
· Inspect returned products and confirm invoice is properly noted for what type of return it is and that TABC stamps are intact, legible and coincide correctly with the customer invoice.
· Stage returns items in designated area for management approval to validate that credit is approved.
· Receive payments collected and assure payments are accurate, signed and dated; cash must be counted at the time of check-in.
· Identify missed collections
· Communicate any reships with routing logistics and ensure merchandise is restaged according to zone in the dock area.
· Collect keys, gas cards and associated vehicle reports/records if any.
· Reconcile Daily Wholesale Payment Logs to be submitted to accounting at the end of the day.
· Drop deposits after each round of driver's collections have been logged.
· Keep Driver Check-In area clean, organized, and accessible to drivers to get checked in.
