Sales Representative
The energy downstream fuels the world. DTN supports its suppliers, wholesalers, and buyers with unique tools and insights to help manage tightening margins and growing viability. Our team is currently growing and looking for talented and competitive Sales Representatives that can thrive in a dynamic sales environment. These individuals will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Ideal candidates must be comfortable meeting daily customer connect calls, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Responsibilities include:
· Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
· Understand customer needs and requirements
· Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
· Close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly quotas
· Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
· Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
· Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
· Perform effective online demonstrations of DTN Energy products to prospects
Qualifications:
· Proven sales experience preferable in the energy space
· Track record of achieving quota
· Strong phone presence and experience meeting daily sales calls goals
· Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools; Zoom, WebEx or other similar tools
· Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Strong listening and presentation skills
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
A minimum of 2 years successful sales experience
· BA/BS Degree preferred
· Energy Industry experienced strongly desired
