We are seeking a hands-on and adaptable Human Resources Manager to help build and scale our people operations in a growing start-up environment. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in growth-stage companies, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is comfortable creating structure while remaining flexible. You will play a critical role in shaping our culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting employees through every stage of their journey with the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.Β
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, FMLA regulations, and other requirements.
- Administer employee orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the company culture and understand organizational policies.
- Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to resolve disputes effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by managing HR sourcing channels, overseeing ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms like ADP, and guiding recruiting efforts through effective interviewing and onboarding processes.
- Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a start-up or high-growth environment.
- Experience in human resources management with a strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with ADP payroll platforms and HR systems.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to manage onboarding and offboarding programs in a scaling organization.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable handling ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across all levels of the company.
- High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
