POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to support several key HR initiatives, including the revamp of job descriptions and new hire orientation programs. Under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer in collaboration with the Corporate Director Clinical Education, the HR Coordinator will also provide high-level administrative and project support across various HR functions. This is a hands-on role ideal for a candidate with strong Microsoft Office skills, project management experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
JOB-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Service

o Provide administrative support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, document preparation, data entry, and file organization.
o Schedule and coordinate stakeholder meetings, compile notes, and manage action items to ensure timely execution of project goals.
o Assist in developing internal communications (e.g., email announcements, intranet content) related to project updates and new initiatives.
• Excellence
o Manage and track project timelines, deliverables, milestones, and outcomes.
o Serve as a project coordinator, ensuring accountability, progress tracking, and regular status reporting to leadership.
o Support the development and implementation of streamlined HR processes in collaboration with department leaders to include HR related policies and procedures, and job descriptions.
o Support data collection, research, and analysis efforts to inform job description language, market benchmarks, and training needs.
o Ensure that all work supports the broader company strategy, maintains compliance, and contributes to consistent, high-quality employee experience.
• Patient Experience and Advocacy
o Collaborate with HR leadership, Corporate Clinical Education, and department leaders to revamp and improve new hire orientation processes and materials.
o Provide administrative support in maintaining new hire documentation, training schedules, and orientation presentations.
o Collaborate with HR leadership, Corporate Clinical Education, and department leaders to identify gaps and propose improvements in onboarding workflows.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance
o Ensure all activities adhere to healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
o Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
o Promotes of a culture of patient safety which results in the identification and reduction of unsafe practices.
o Assist and coordinate efforts to revamp and standardize job descriptions, ensuring alignment with organizational structure, compliance standards, and current role expectations.
o Partner with department leaders to gather, analyze, and incorporate feedback for accurate and up-to-date job content.
o Develop and maintain a centralized repository for job descriptions, ensuring version control and easy access for HR and leadership.
o Assist in policy updates and documentation, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company standards.
• Professional Growth and Continuing Education
o Completes annual education requirements.
o Maintains competency, as evidenced by completion of competency validation requirements.
o Maintains competency and knowledge of current standards of practice, trends, and developments.
o Participates in relevant workshops, seminars, and continuing education courses to stay current with industry trends, healthcare regulations, and best practices.
o Participate in ongoing HR initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance the employee lifecycle.
o Stay informed of HR best practices and contribute ideas to improve team effectiveness and HR operations.
• Finance
o Promotes stewardship of hospital resources while ensuring quality patient care.
o Supports leadership in identifying cost-effective process improvements in job design and onboarding workflows.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role; experience in healthcare is a plus.
• Proven experience supporting HR projects or process improvement initiatives.
• Prior experience in job description development or employee onboarding preferred.
SKILLS:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with SharePoint or HRIS systems a plus.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
