The Foster Care Adoption Recruiter & Home Developer works collaboratively with the recruitment and training team to ensure prospective foster and adoptive families are prepared to meet the needs of children in foster care. Once families are recruited, development will include screening applicants through a background check process, obtaining references, and collecting required documentation.
The Recruiter & Home Developer will be responsible for the recruitment of prospective families, tracking data, e-filing and organizing applications, and entering training information into the client management database in compliance with Residential Child Care contract standards and Residential Child Care Minimum Licensing Standards.

Experience/Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science or related field plus 2 years of experience in a child placement setting OR a Master’s degree in Social Work or Behavioral Science field
Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends
Interviewing Skills
Ability to evaluate parenting skills and the capability to parent children of trauma
Working knowledge of Residential Child Care Minimum Standards and Residential Child Care Contracts
Familiarity with Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) model
Valid Texas Driver's License
Valid auto liability insurance
Experience/Skills Preferred
Previous child welfare experience
