Job Description:
The Financial Control team is involved in various aspects of financial processes, controls, reports and analyses. The team works with other control functions (including Product Control, Treasury, Tax, Credit, Confirmations and Settlements) on the design, development, implementation, operation and monitoring of controls and reporting to continuously improve business and process controls, and information and analysis to inform management decision making.Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred
1-3 years’ experience in public accounting and/or the Energy industry performing financial analysis, financial accounting, month-end close, and accounts reconciliations
IFRS experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills, particularly to provide “drill down” reporting capability (vlookup, index, pivot).
Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems such as SAP, Workday, etc..
Experience with data mining and working with large data sets
Experience with financial reporting to a foreign Parent Company
Ability to multi-task and deal with time-sensitive projects with competing deadlines and stakeholders
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Knowledge of retail and wholesale energy activities
MS Teams experience preferred
