Electrical Engineer- Design Validation

We are searching for an Electrical Engineer with experience testing and validating designs.  In this role you will design tests to certify new products, verify products meet standards, and recommend changes.

The job duties for this position include: 

• Design tests
• Ensure products meet requirements
• Oversee Certification of products, including FCC, CE, etc
• Automate testing
• Sustaining Engineering
• Troubleshoot
• Document
• Interface with other departments
• Other tasks as assigned

Engineer III+:

• Strong certification experience with IOT devices (cellular, LORA, and BLE)
• Familiar with FCC, IC, CE, PTCRB, etc
• Experience designing tests and performing tests to validate products
• Experience working with primary and rechargeable lithium batteries
• Communication Skills and Diplomacy
• Maintain Schedules
• Troubleshooting
• Electrical Laboratory Equipment

• Technical Writing

Education/Experience requirements:

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
• 5+Years in a relevant Engineering area

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
• Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
