Electrical Engineer

Job Description

I am supporting a client in Houston, TX with an IMMEDIATE need for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and execution of power system projects. This role focuses on end to end electrical design, from concept through installation and startup, while collaborating closely with internal engineering, sales, and procurement teams.

This is a Temp to possible Perm, full time, on site position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HV, MV, and LV power systems based on project and customer requirements

• Develop and review electrical schematics, one line diagrams, and equipment layouts

• Support projects through design, installation, and startup phases

• Assist sales and procurement with equipment selection, specifications, and bid support

• Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Experience in power system design and electrical engineering

• Proficiency with CAD software for electrical schematics

• Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations

• Ability to collaborate across engineering, sales, and procurement teams
