Work Overview

The Clinical Recruiter is a master's level therapist who will balance providing direct patient care with recruiting and building a string clinical team. This role requires maintaining a home health caseload and providing services at least two (2) days per week, while spending three (3) days per week in the office or field actively recruiting therapist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct home health evaluations and provide therapy treatments to patients
  • Maintain a minimum of patient visits scheduled per clinical day
  • Complete documentation accurately and timely
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract qualified therapists using platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn and other recruitment sources
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the organization
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and department heads
  • Track recruitment activities and candidate progress accurately
  • Manage candidate relationships, providing timely updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure recruitment goals and processes are met
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, labor market conditions and best practices in healthcare recruitment
  • Attend job fairs industry conferences, and networking events to build relationships and promote the organization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and professional organizations
  • Come in office on treatment days if you have 3 or less patient visits scheduled to perform recruiting duties

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy
  • Active and unrestricted licensure to practice
  • Active CPR certification
  • Valid proof of auto insurance
  • Experience providing therapy services
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Experience using recruitment platform preferred
