GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Clinical Nurse Educator is a patient care provider. The primary role is monitoring, coordination, orientation, training, and education along the continuum of the nursing functions across Moody locations to direct care staff and/or patients and family members. In addition to fulfilling the duties of a RN as needed; this position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies in the nursing and direct care programs as well as making sure these teams have the skills and tools needed to follow best practices and provide safe and effective care to the patients at Moody. This position will work closely with the CCO, Nurse Manager, Program Directors and Quality Improvement and Compliance Specialist for program and policy development and service delivery models. The Clinical Nurse Educator will also work closely with Business Development to support Moody’s Mission of being an industry expert in brain injury by developing and providing education to the community.
