Backend and Infrastructure Software Engineer

Position Overview:

As an experienced Backend and Infrastructure Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and enhancing the next-generation capital markets platform for alternative investments. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team—spanning Product Design, Engineering, and Client Integrations —to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that power our ecosystem.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and optimize API integrations to connect existing systems with participants in a private, permissioned blockchain network.
• Design and implement core backend components to ensure efficiency, scalability, and stability across system resources.
• Build and maintain multi-language SDKs to accelerate platform adoption by a wide range of organizations.
• Collaborate with client support teams to investigate, diagnose, and resolve platform issues.
• Analyze system logs to identify, document, and proactively address potential platform problems.
  

About you:

• 5+ years of professional experience with strong programming skills in multiple languages (Node/Typescript, Python and Golang)
• Strong experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS), Linux environments (bash/shell) and DevOps technologies (such as Docker)
  
• Familiarity with front-end web frameworks such as Angular 2+ (nice to have)
  

Product development experience in the fintech area and understanding of distributed ledgers and enterprise applications of blockchain technology (such as Hyperledger Fabric) is very appreciated.

• This U.S.-based position offers a competitive base salary that varies depending on the candidate’s location. Pay ranges may differ for specific regions.
• The role is flexible, allowing for remote or hybrid work arrangements. Our office is located in Houston, and while you're welcome to work from the office whenever you choose, it’s not a requirement.
• Candidates must reside within the United States to be considered.
