The Automotive Electrician will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and components in trucks, trailers, and other specialized vehicles. This includes both 12V and 24V systems, custom installations, and integration of aftermarket equipment.
Install, route, and secure wiring harnesses and components in trucks and trailers
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and build blueprints
Install lighting systems, switches, sensors, relays, and control panels
Test and diagnose electrical systems using multimeters and diagnostic tools
Repair or replace faulty wiring and components to meet operational standards
Collaborate with the fabrication and assembly teams to coordinate electrical installations
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Maintain clean workspaces and follow all shop protocols and procedures
2+ years of experience as an automotive or truck electrician
Proficient in 12V and 24V systems and automotive wiring techniques
Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and technical diagrams
Experience using electrical testing tools and hand tools
Strong attention to detail and safety
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification a plus
CDL or truck manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
