Location: This is an in-office role based in either our Austin or Houston office.
Note: For Austin candidates, HOA attorney experience is required. For Houston candidates, real estate litigation experience is required. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

Job Description
- Represent clients in HOA, property owners association, real estate, and litigation matters
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to assigned clients
- Draft, review, and amend governing documents, legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, opinions, and related legal documents
- Advise clients on compliance, governance, disputes, collections, and real estate-related legal issues
- Handle real estate litigation matters, including pleadings, discovery, hearings, negotiations, and case strategy
- Prepare and pursue judicial foreclosures when applicable
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, court briefing, and client guidance
- Attend client board meetings, member meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as needed
- Supervise and work closely with legal assistants and support staff
- Manage deadlines, client expectations, billing requirements, and multiple active matters
Qualifications
- Active Texas law license required
- Austin candidates must have HOA attorney experience
- Houston candidates must have real estate litigation experience
- 1+ year of relevant attorney experience preferred
- Experience with court appearances, litigation, client communication, legal drafting, and case management preferred
- Strong legal writing, research, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, approachable, client-service mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management tools
- Ability to work full-time in office
