The AP/AR Accountants is responsible for the financial processing of transactions for the ROC Americas & Canada.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Processing vendor invoices into the accounting system.
Obtaining approval for vendor payments, supporting the payments of invoices and accurate record keeping, and preparing customers’ invoices based on accounting procedures.
Compare vendor/subcontractor invoices to purchase orders or contracts to verify quantities, prices, payment terms, freight charges, extensions, etc.
Payment processing: checks with positive pay, ACH, wire and FX wire.
Reconcile Vendor Statement
Cash receipt posting
Month-end accruals for missing invoices
Assist with Financials and Tax audits
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Work Experience
1-5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Knowledge of general accounting, auditing, payroll and invoicing required.
Knowledge of business machines and office procedures plus the ability to organize.
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and build relationships
