Join S.H.A.R.E. Community Development Corp. (SCDC) as an AI-Augmented High-End Aesthetic Designer, where you will pioneer the creation of cutting-edge, luxurious interior spaces for Class A community-focused projects, including 1-bedroom 8-plexes, 2-bedroom 4-plexes, and 3-bedroom 4-plexes utilizing pre-cast concrete technology. You will leverage AI-driven design tools to transform basic blueprints (e.g., AutoCAD) into photorealistic 3D visualizations, ensuring a seamless blend of functionality, aesthetics, and innovation.

During the interview process, candidates will be tested on their ability to deliver real-time design solutions, including creating a digital mock-up from provided blueprints and demonstrating hand-drawing skills without reliance on computer-generated tools.

Portfolio: Submission of a portfolio showcasing completed luxury interior design projects, including photorealistic renders and 3D visualizations, is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Design Development: Create innovative, luxurious interior designs for multifamily residences, integrating AI tools to produce photorealistic 3D renderings and visualizations.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze and interpret AutoCAD blueprints to develop 3D models that align with project specifications and SCDC’s vision.
  • AI Tool Utilization: Should have experience leveraging AI tools such as Spacely AI for photorealistic renders, Planner 5D’s Design Generator for rapid design prototyping, and HomeVisualizer AI for immersive visualizations or similar.
  • Real-Time Design Testing: You must demonstrate the ability to create digital mock-ups and hand-drawn sketches during interviews, showcasing both AI-enhanced and traditional design skills.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and external partners to ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, and structural requirements.
  • Project Management: Oversee interior design projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Trend Integration: Incorporate the latest trends in luxury interior design, sustainable practices, and green infrastructure to enhance project outcomes.


Requirements

Only candidates with unrestricted U.S. work authorization will be considered.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in interior design or architecture, with experience in multifamily, townhome, or pre-cast concrete projects preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software for blueprint interpretation and 3D modeling.
  • Expertise in AI-driven design tools, including Spacely AI, Planner 5D’s Design Generator, and HomeVisualizer AI or similiar
  • Ability to hand-draw designs without computer assistance, demonstrating broad design knowledge.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and coordinate with external stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with world-class firms and internal teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines.
  • Trends & Sustainability: Familiarity with luxury Class A apartment design trends, sustainable practices, and green infrastructure is a plus.

Additional Details:

  • Location: Downtown Houston, Texas 77002.
  • Work Environment: On-site role; no remote or hybrid options available.
  • Salary Between: $78,000 - $130,000 per year.
  • Benefits: Eligible for full-time company benefits after completion of a probationary period.
  • Start Date: Ideal candidate must be available to start within two weeks of acceptance.
