Job Overview
As a Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative, billing, and permitting tasks. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced office environment.

What You’ll Do
- Answer incoming calls, transfer calls, take messages, and route callers appropriately.
- Collect, organize, and scan documents to the appropriate share files.
- Research and resolve issues related to missing or incomplete manifests.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns via phone and email with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Sort and stamp outgoing invoices.
- Cross train in billing functions across all divisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks assigned.
- Responsibilities and tasks may change with or without notice.
- Participate in departmental initiatives that increase efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative office experience plus a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Previous experience in the waste industry preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is largely a sedentary role. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
