We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in New Jersey. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting the organizationβs financial operations.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Prepare tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies
Support budgeting and financial forecasting activities
Collaborate with management to improve financial processes
Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
CPA certification is a plus
Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation
Knowledge of US accounting regulations and standards
