We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven NDT Recruiter to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier professionals in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), including technicians, inspectors, engineers, and quality assurance specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NDT methods, certifications, and industry demands.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Source and recruit qualified NDT professionals across various disciplines (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT, ET, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess technical qualifications and certifications (e.g., ASNT, NAS 410, ISO 9712)
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job specifications
  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Develop and update job descriptions and specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document requirements and objectives
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate platforms (job boards, colleges)
  • Manage job postings, social media outreach, and recruitment campaigns
  • Conduct interviews using structured, competency-based, and stress methods
  • Assess applicants’ technical knowledge, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Assist in onboarding new employees for smooth integration
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Maintain candidate records and recruitment metrics using ATS
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships
  • Represent the company at industry events, job fairs, and NDT conferences
  • Promote the company’s reputation as a “best place to work”


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical recruiting, preferably within NDT or industrial services
  • Familiarity with NDT methods and certifications (ASNT Level I/II/III, etc.)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (video, phone, reference checks)
  • Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, ATS, CMS, HRIS, and HRMS systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills


Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of industries that rely on NDT: oil & gas, aerospace, manufacturing, construction, power generation
  • Understanding of compliance and safety standards (OSHA, API, ASTM)


Physical Requirements:

  • Move, carry, and lift objects 25 lbs. or more.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb.
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
