We have an exciting opportunity for a <\/span>Web Software Developer for Gateway<\/b> to join the team supporting NASA JSC Engineering's EX5 Branch. The Toolchain team will ensure that all required artifacts are in place\/track them efficiently, and develop software web tools needed to store, access, and report on these Gateway artifacts. <\/span>

As a <\/span>Web Software Developer for Gateway<\/b>, you will:<\/span>
<\/div>
<\/p>

Have software development background is a must â more than just trivial experience in web programming and integrating<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Be full\-stack developer who is familiar with front end, middleware, and database. <\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Have demonstrated ability to work with various languages and frameworks.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Have experience with databases (e.g., MongoDB) and Rest API.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Be able to work in a fast\-paced environment with a diverse and distributed team<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Possess good troubleshooting skills for nontrivial applications<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Work in a team environment.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Maintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer, other NASA support contractors and the Gateway HALO team.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Provide coordinated support between engineering and other organizations\/programs<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Perform other duties as required.<\/span><\/span>

Typically requires a bachelorâs degree in Engineering with experience in the field or in a related area.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Experience collecting\/understanding stakeholder needs.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
React experience strongly desired. <\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
JavaScript\/Typescript is mandatory<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) is required.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Enthusiastic, self\-starter who can understand and absorb new concepts quickly.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and coordination skills with internal and external customers<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision<\/span><\/span>

Previous experience working with NASA.<\/span><\/span>

Node.js and docker experience is<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Be able to configure their own environment utilizing docker. <\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Experience with CM tools such as DNG (DOORs Next Gen) or Windchill is desired<\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Experience with SE&I requirements or verification workflows<\/span><\/span>
