The Warehouse Supervisor will lead and motivate a team that works to complete tasks set by higher-level management. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within a warehouse environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in RMA Manufacturing. This role involves coordinating team activities, monitoring workflow, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment in alignment with company standards and production goals. You will be part of management and will work with cross-functional teams to ensure daily KPIβs are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team to complete the warehouse activities, which include but are not limited to: Picking parts for production needs (BOM), compliance, shipping, receiving, inventory, sorting, Scrap, and helping with cycle count.Β
Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Provide recommendations on process improvements and assist with implementation.
Review incoming material orders/pick tickets.
Place materials on order picker, pallet jack, or forklift.
Lead delivery items to the proper loading area or delivery truck.
Unload trucks and stock Inventory.
Ensure teams' daily tasks are being worked on with a pass-down to the next shift of uncompleted tasks or urgent needs.
Maintain attendance records for the reporting team.
Leading and directing warehouse operators to ensure consistent workflow and timely completion of production targets.
Evaluating team performance, providing feedback, and implementing improvements to maximize productivity and product quality.
Ensuring compliance: Enforcing safety standards, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain a compliant work environment.
Training and development: Onboarding new employees and cross-training team members to promote flexibility and skills enhancement.
Troubleshooting issues: Identifying and resolving production problems or equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Supervise a team while prioritizing policies, strategic objectives, and organizational goals.
Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree or 4-year degree preferred
Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred
Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50lbs; must be able to stand/walk for 8+ hours
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and quality assurance focus
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Knowledge of assembly processes and production line best practices
Proficiency in enforcing and following SOPs
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, analysis, and reporting
