West Janisch Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our care team. This is a full-time, day-shift role (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) focused on providing high-quality resident care, with an emphasis on wound care and preventive skin treatments.

The Treatment Nurse will be responsible for providing daily skin assessments, administering prescribed treatments, and ensuring accurate documentation of all resident care. This role is key in promoting healing, preventing complications, and supporting residents’ overall well-being in collaboration with the nursing team and medical providers.

• Perform daily skin assessments and administer prescribed treatments.

• Provide wound care and preventive skin care interventions.

• Document treatments and progress notes accurately and in compliance with regulations.

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team on treatment plans.

• Educate staff on maintaining skin integrity, preventing wounds, and implementing infection control practices.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to physicians and families.

• Current LVN or RN license in the state of Texas.

• Previous skilled nursing facility experience required.

• Strong clinical, assessment, and documentation skills.

• Dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented.

• Wound care experience preferred. (Certification a plus, but not required.)
