Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for supporting the Company’s federal, state, provincial and local tax filings.
Essential Functions
- Prepare and assist with the timely and accurate tax filings, including income, property, sales & use tax for the US and Canadian corporate entities.
- Ensure tax payments are calculated correctly and remitted timely.
- Assist with responding to notices and audits.
- Assist with registrations and deregistrations with federal, state, provincial and local tax authorities.
- Assist with the monthly reconciliation process.
- Research and resolve complex tax filing issues.
- Stay up to date with current tax legislation, including tax rate changes and new compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect required information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Internships with public accounting firms or in-house tax departments.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and escalate issues.
