Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will use their accounting knowledge to perform various duties and responsibilities. Reporting to the accounting department manager, the ideal candidate will manage multiple priorities to ensure all financial data is processed in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with month end closing process
• Balance Sheet account reconciliations for multiple entities
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of state taxes
• Weekly validation and recognition of all revenue related activities
• Process weekly commission payments in a timely manner
• Initiate and manage daily bank transactions, including wire transfers, ACH payments, and internal account transfers
• Perform all necessary journal entries timely and accurately
• Maintain professional and timely communication with vendors, customers, and internal team members
• Collaborate and build effective relationships with other departments
• Perform other responsibilities and projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-3 years of experience as an accountant or in an accounting related function required
• Experience with cloud-based accounting software, NetSuite preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel required 
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
