The ideal candidate will possess extensive accounting experience, ideally within the manufacturing or fabrication industries. They should demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, including expertise in pivot tables and V-Lookups. A bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the fixed asset database and generate fixed asset/depreciation entries on a monthly basis.
Assist the accounting team in preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring financial transactions are accurate and complete.
Collaborate with the CFO in reviewing monthly financial statements by identifying discrepancies and independently investigating to provide explanations.
Work closely with the CFO to enhance accounting procedures and processes.
Participate in the preparation for the annual audit.
Support the CFO on special projects as needed.
Oversee the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor management.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of all invoices, resolving any discrepancies or issues with vendors.
Assist in generating Invoices for clients, creating Sales Orders, and following up with outstanding invoices with Clients
Review WIP reports and assist with creating journal entries needed to maintain movement in WIP and Inventory accounts.
The Goal:

Experience and Education Requirements:
Proficiency in Excel ? intermediate to advanced level with experience using pivot tables and V-Lookups.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting.
5+ years of accounting experience, preferred.

Experience with accounts receivable processes and procedures.
