As a Shipping Administrator reporting to the Manager, Materials, you will be the key link ensuring customer orders move smoothly from system to shipment. Your focus will be on accurate order processing in our MRP system and clear communication of shipping schedules and customer requirements across RS.
You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, translate customer needs into actionable plans, and make sure orders are delivered on time. From managing order flow to coordinating shipments, you'll play a vital role in keeping our operations seamless and maintaining our commitment to customers.

Review incoming sales orders and create jobs/templates to meet production and shipping requirements
Develop and communicate production schedules for Order Prep, inputting sequenced build plans in Epicor
Prepare detailed shipping schedules including truck timing and load information
Coordinate transportation and communicate shipment updates to supervisors, Order Prep staff, and team members
Ensure completion of all shipping and customs documentation
Oversee accurate reporting of production and shipments in Epicor
Monitor inventory levels to meet production and customer deadlines
Assist in project planning, including packaging and component storage
Provide coverage for Shipping Coordinator as needed
Maintain a basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems (Epicor)
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of shipping or shipping administration experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (RS currently uses Epicor)
