Senior Software Engineer

Position Description:

Senior Software Engineer for Fish & Richardson P.C., Houston, TX.

Architect, code, design, and construct application components and diagnosis of application problems. Analyze and diagnose software application problems. Code application components. Collaborate with project leaders and analysts to understand application requirements. Use knowledge of C#, Java, MS SQL, Microsoft SharePoint Portal, .NET, REACT, ASP, Microsoft Office back-end customization, Presentation Graphics and Front Office Automation Applications to analyze and document detailed requirements for application components. Collaborate with project technical leaders to develop designs for application components. Responsible for project management and serve as the primary interface with project sponsors. Conduct fullstack software development with web application development tools, technologies, and languages (VB.Net, JSP,XML). Monitor software application trends. Works directly with stakeholders to troubleshoot application issues utilizing multiple technologies to find solutions. Document technical design and architecture. Conduct on-going quality control and other liaison functions. Hybrid work permitted within reasonable commuting distance.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience as a software engineer, software developer, or related occupation in software engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience as a software engineer, software developer, or related occupation in software engineering.

Must possess 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree in the following: C#, Java, MS SQL, and Microsoft SharePoint Portal; Full-stack software development with web application development tools, technologies, languages (VB.Net, JSP, XML), and trends.

Knowledge of at least one of the following software technologies: Microsoft Office back-end customization, .NET, REACT, ASP, Presentation Graphics or Front Office Automation Applications.

Hybrid work permitted within reasonable commuting distance.
