Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Accounting - Financial Control department. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, supporting our monthly close processes, and helping us seamlessly integrate newly acquired entities into our accounting systems and processes. Your expertise in GAAP and ERP systems, along with your proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration, will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Perform timely and accurate balance sheet account reconciliations and analyze variances.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports, providing accurate and insightful financial data.
  • Partner with internal teams to evaluate and integrate accounting processes for newly acquired entities, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Tax departments to maintain data accuracy and consistency across the organization.
  • Maintain and enhance documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA or active progress toward certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with public accounting experience being an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and a solid understanding of internal controls.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems is preferred, and familiarity with EssBase is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas, is essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effective cross-team collaboration.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
