We are seeking an accomplished Global Account Manager to lead relationships with some of the world’s most influential banking institutions. In this high-impact role, you’ll serve as the strategic lead for a portfolio of global bank clients - driving revenue growth, deepening partnerships, and positioning our world-class research and analytics at the heart of their decision-making.
You’ll lead a global, cross-functional team to build and execute account strategies that deliver measurable client success. The ideal candidate will combine strategic insight into financial markets and energy market trends with a track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Drive Growth & Retention
Exceed ambitious revenue targets by leading complex global renewals and expansion strategies.
Identify, structure, and close cross-sector growth opportunities across all product lines.
Build a healthy, forward-looking pipeline through strategic engagement and insight-led selling.
Own the Client Relationship
Serve as the trusted advisor to senior executives at global banks, helping them navigate the energy and natural resources landscape.
Deepen multi-level relationships across business units, ensuring our solutions align with each client’s strategic priorities.
Proactively identify risks to retention and deploy creative solutions to strengthen long-term partnerships.
Shape Account Strategy
Develop and execute tailored account plans that align our value with client objectives.
Orchestrate global account teams—including product, research, consulting, and customer success—to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Champion the voice of the client internally to influence product innovation and service excellence.
Lead Through Influence
Coordinate across a matrixed organization to ensure best-in-class delivery.
Collaborate closely with technical specialists, marketing, and analytics teams to execute impactful client engagement strategies.
Model a culture of teamwork, excellence, and commercial accountability.
Be a Market Expert
Stay ahead of trends in capital markets, banking, and energy, positioning yourself as a thought partner to clients.
Leverage market insight to uncover new opportunities and strengthen Wood Mackenzie’s leadership position.
About You
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
7+ years of success in enterprise B2B sales, ideally in financial services or capital markets.
Proven record of exceeding $4M+ in annual sales targets, including six- and seven-figure deal cycles.
Deep understanding of banking workflows and capital markets, with exposure to energy or natural resources a plus.
Skilled in complex negotiations and stakeholder management at the executive level.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong network within the banking or capital markets ecosystem preferred.
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM for pipeline management and forecasting.
Highly self-motivated, commercially astute, and driven by results.
