About The Role:
Powell is seeking a Marketing Content Creator who will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining cohesive communication campaigns designed to increase brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth. This individual will focus on the media production side of content creation, like photo/video/design work to match current branding, and work with the team to create short- and long-term campaigns relating to internal and external relations. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on content creation experience, strong awareness of social media trends, and the ability to organize and execute consistent messaging across platforms.
Responsibilities:
Lead creative ideation and production of content across all formats: video, photography, interviews, shorts, graphics, brochures, and more.
Develop and produce high-quality, platform-specific content, including short and long-form videos, user-generated content (UGC), and trend-driven content.
Work with the internal marketing team, manufacturing manager, and department leads to film, edit, and organizing photo and video from Powell locations.
Work closely with the broader marketing team to align social content with campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
Cultivate and manage relationships with Powell employees and leaders to capture and maintain a level of authentic storytelling for internal and external communications.
Support content scheduling and publishing, ensuring each post lands with purpose and timing that drives engagement.
Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging, and value-based messaging with the help of current marketing leads and product developers.

Qualifications & Skills:
Overview: Content Creation, Video Filming & Editing, Mild Graphic Design, Storytelling & Conversation Marketing Skills, Camera Work, Social Media Strategy, etc.
You bring 3-5 years of experience in content creation and social media management, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, and/or corporate office settings.
Youβre proficient at using content creation tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, or similar software to produce high-quality digital assets.
You have a proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content that resonates with target audiences across various social media platforms.
You can match and recreate current brand composition and design - color, spacing, verbiage, vibe, pacing, etc.
You have experience in planning, filming, directing, and editing B-Roll, secondary footage, employee interviews, and other forms of medium to long video content.
You have experience with canon/Sony cameras, static lighting, camera gimbals/stabilizers, and other media production equipment.
Bonus: You have a design, video, and/or project portfolio showcasing previous content creation and projects.
Bonus: You have some writing and copywriting experience.
