Overview

We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead our client acquisition and expansion strategy within the consulting and enterprise technology space. This role is ideally suited for a highly motivated sales leader with 10+ years of experience, preferably coming from a boutique consulting firm and with a track record in private equity-backed environments. Prior experience at Gartner, Mercer, or similar firms is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will combine strategic acumen with tactical execution, capable of driving revenue growth, building long-term client relationships, and positioning Zetta as a strategic partner for enterprise transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and expansion.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with Zetta’s value proposition and target markets.
  • Leverage consulting background to identify and understand client needs, creating tailored solutions that drive value.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers at C-level and VP-level across private equity, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
  • Collaborate with marketing, delivery, and executive teams to craft compelling go-to-market campaigns and offerings.
  • Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, from initial outreach through negotiation and close.
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach, drawing on experience in private equity and professional services.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Zetta’s service portfolio.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales reporting through CRM tools and regular forecasting.
  • Represent Zetta at industry conferences, client meetings, and executive briefings.
  • Contribute to product and service refinement based on client feedback and market dynamics.


Requirements


  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in consulting or technology services.
  • Experience working at (or selling into) firms like Gartner, Mercer, or similar advisory organizations.
  • Strong background in private equity, including understanding of portfolio value creation, operational improvement, and due diligence processes.
  • Prior experience in boutique consulting firms, with ability to translate complex solutions into business value.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a focus on executive presence.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise buying cycles and B2B consultative sales.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Willingness to travel to client locations and industry events as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced business/consulting training is a plus.
