Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with decision-makers and executives at assigned customer accounts.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while actively seeking ways to improve customer operations and outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between NOV and assigned customer accounts, identifying customer needs and demonstrating how NOV’s aftermarket services, capital equipment, and technologies add value to their business.
  • Promote and represent the full suite of NOV Rig Technologies products, services, and solutions to assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and conditions for customer orders in alignment with NOV policies and guidance from management, legal, and finance teams.
  • Drive direct sales efforts by identifying opportunities, developing proposals, delivering presentations, and engaging appropriate subject matter experts as needed.
  • Analyze customer and market needs to build and execute strategic plans focused on capturing new business opportunities.
  • Support the Annual Financial Plan and Quarterly Sales Forecast by contributing accurate data and maintaining a focus on meeting booking targets.
  • Track competitor activities and market trends, sharing insights with internal teams to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with internal support teams, technical experts, and operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor order status and provide updates to customers while supporting the accounts receivable team with overdue account management.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects, opportunities, and quotations while managing all required internal and external communications.
  • Represent NOV Rig Technologies at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities and market intelligence for management review.
  • Travel locally and regionally to customer sites and company locations as required.
  • Adhere to all company QHSE policies and uphold NOV’s Code of Conduct.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and experienced with quotation and aftermarket/asset tracking systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineeringBusiness, or a related technical field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry, with preference for candidates with experience working for an OEMdrilling contractor, or those with proven expertise in drilling operations and equipment.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining business-to-business relationships within the industry.
  • Strong technical acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Broad understanding of the upstream oil and gas sector, with deep knowledge of drilling markets, applications, equipment, and commercial dynamics.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Ability to manage complex client relationships and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience with digital drilling control systems and software is highly preferred.
